How shows get listed
Hand-picked, in person, worth going to. Here is what makes the calendar and how to suggest a show.
This is a curated calendar, not a free-for-all. I list the art openings and events I'd want to go to myself, and I find most of them by following the artists, galleries and venues I care about.
What gets listed
- Openings and exhibitions
- Installations, performances and artist talks
- Art fairs, open studios, and zine and print fairs
Everything here is something you can show up to in person, on a specific date. I don't list permanent collections, online-only events, classes or product drops.
Suggest a show
If you're an artist, a gallery or venue, or an organizer, or you just know about something good, send it my way. The more you include the better: who's showing, where, the dates and opening reception time, and a link to the show page or flyer.
Not everything that's sent in gets listed. That's the curated part.
Something wrong?
If a listing has the wrong date, address or details, use the same form and I'll fix it.
Images
Show images come from the show's own page and are credited and linked back to it. If you'd like an image changed or taken down, use the same form and I'll take care of it.
